Regulamin świadczenia usług drogą elektroniczną
Last updated: September 2026
These terms govern your use of Pathioo. They also serve as the regulamin required by Polish law for services provided by electronic means. In short: Pathioo is free, it plans journeys but sells nothing, every price and time on screen comes from a live API, and nothing here takes away rights the law gives you as a consumer.
The service at pathioo.com ("Pathioo", "the Service") is provided by:
This document is the regulamin within the meaning of art. 8 of the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of services by electronic means. It is made available to you free of charge before you begin using the Service, and the button above lets you save or print it.
Pathioo builds door-to-door route suggestions: you give a start point, a destination and a date, and it assembles the whole journey — the leg to the airport, the flight, and the leg from the arrival airport to the final address — with times and prices for each part.
Flight prices, times, airlines and routes come directly from live third-party APIs (Duffel for flights, Google Maps for local transit). They are not invented, estimated or generated by us. Where no live source exists for a leg — typically a taxi or transfer with no public transport alternative — the figure shown is a distance-based estimate, labelled as such, and never presented as a quoted fare.
Artificial intelligence is used in exactly one place: the optional "Not sure which one?" panel, where it chooses which of the already-retrieved options best fits the preference you typed. It never generates or alters a price, time, airline or route; whatever it picks is re-read from the live API response before it reaches your screen. It may also decline to pick anything.
Pathioo provides informational route suggestions only. We do not sell tickets, take payments, make reservations, act as an agent for any carrier, or guarantee that any option shown is still available. Booking always happens elsewhere, under someone else's terms.
The Service is free. There is no account, no payment, no trial, and no paid tier held back behind a feature. We are paid by travel partners when you choose to book through one of the links under your route — see section 9.
We may change, limit or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, with reasonable notice where that is practicable. Since nothing is paid for and nothing is stored on our side, there is nothing for you to cancel or reclaim.
To use the Service you need:
Using the internet always carries risks that are not specific to Pathioo — interception of unencrypted traffic, malware, phishing. We serve the whole site over HTTPS and set standard security headers, but we cannot secure your own device or network.
There is no registration and no account. The contract for the electronic service is concluded when you open pathioo.com and start using it, and it ends the moment you close the page. It is concluded for the duration of that visit; you can end it at any time, for any reason, simply by leaving — no notice, no formality, nothing to delete.
If you send us a message through the contact form, that separate contract is concluded when you submit it and ends when your enquiry has been dealt with.
We may suspend or block access where it is necessary to protect the Service or other users — in practice, for the conduct described in section 6, or to deal with an attack or an outage. Where the reason is something you did and circumstances allow, we will tell you why.
You must not supply content of an unlawful character. The only text you can send us is what you type into the search fields, the "Not sure which one?" box and the contact form; none of it may be unlawful, infringe anyone's rights, or be used to attack the Service or its users.
You also agree not to:
Prices, durations and carrier information are retrieved live and are accurate at the moment of the search. They can change between your search and your booking, and availability is never guaranteed. Taxi and transfer figures without a live source are rough, distance-based estimates, shown as a range and marked "est.".
Where a departure time falls outside the window a transit provider publishes timetables for, we deliberately blank the clock times rather than show you a real service running on the wrong day. Weather shown for a date more than about nine days away is a ten-year average, labelled as such, and is not a forecast — nobody can forecast a named day that far ahead.
Always verify travel information — prices, schedules, availability, and above all entry and visa requirements — directly with the airline, operator or authority before you buy anything. The entry-requirements panel links you to a specialist source; it never answers the question itself.
Pathioo relies on third-party providers (Duffel, Google, Anthropic, MET Norway, NASA POWER, and Resend, which delivers contact-form messages). Your use of the Service is also subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or for the accuracy of the data they return. What each of them receives is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Links to travel partners lead to sites we do not operate. Anything you do there is governed by that partner's terms, not ours.
Some links to travel partners are affiliate links. If you book through one, the partner may pay us a commission — at no extra cost to you; you pay the same as going direct.
Any booking, payment or contract is made directly between you and that partner. Pathioo is not a party to it, does not take your money, and accepts no liability for the partner's performance — complaints about a booking go to the partner, not to us.
Affiliate arrangements never affect the prices, times, airlines or routes shown, and no partner can buy a position in the results. Route options are ranked purely on fare and journey time.
The design, branding, text and software making up Pathioo are owned by or licensed to us, and may not be reproduced, redistributed or commercially exploited without written permission. Route results are for your personal use.
This does not extend to the underlying data: flight and transit information belongs to the providers it comes from, weather forecasts are © MET Norway under CC BY 4.0, and climate normals come from NASA POWER, which is in the public domain. Credits are shown where that data appears.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where the law does not allow it to be excluded or limited — in particular for damage caused intentionally, for harm to life or health, and under mandatory consumer protection rules.
If you are a consumer, we are liable on the general terms of the Polish Civil Code. The limitation in the next paragraph does not apply to you.
If you are not a consumer (you use the Service in connection with a business), our liability is limited to damage caused by our gross negligence or intent, is limited to actual loss, excludes lost profits, and is capped at €100 in aggregate.
The Service is informational. We do not guarantee that any option shown is available, bookable or still priced as displayed, and we are not liable for the acts or omissions of carriers, booking platforms or affiliate partners.
If something about the Service is wrong, tell us. Send a complaint to contact@pathioo.com or by post to the address in section 1.
Please include, so we can actually look into it:
We answer complaints within 14 days of receiving them, and in any event no later than 30 days, at the email address you used. If we need more information to deal with it, we will ask before that deadline runs out.
Complaints about a booking, a fare charged, a cancellation or a refund belong to the partner you booked with — we never took your money and cannot return it. We will still point you to the right place if you are not sure who that is.
If you are a consumer and we have not resolved your complaint, you are not limited to the courts. In Poland you can turn to:
We are not bound by any code of conduct, and we have not committed in advance to any one ADR body. If we reject a complaint and you then apply for out-of-court resolution, we will tell you plainly whether we agree to take part.
The EU's online dispute resolution (ODR) platform is no longer an option for anyone: it stopped accepting complaints in March 2025 and was shut down in July 2025 under Regulation (EU) 2024/3228. If you find a link to it on any site, it leads nowhere.
These terms are governed by Polish law.
If you are a consumer, that choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you habitually live. Disputes are heard by the courts having jurisdiction under generally applicable law — which, for a consumer resident in the EU, includes the courts of your own place of residence. We do not, and could not, require you to sue us anywhere else.
If you are not a consumer, disputes are heard by the court having jurisdiction over our registered seat in Wrocław.
We may change these terms — for example when the law changes, or when a feature they describe changes. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version, and material changes will be announced on the site before they take effect.
Because the contract lasts only as long as your visit, you are always shown the terms that apply before you use the Service, and you are free to stop using it at any moment if you do not accept a change. Changes never apply retroactively to a complaint already filed.
Questions about these terms, or anything else? Email contact@pathioo.com, or write to the address in section 1. How your message is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy.
